XceedID and AWID Jointly Announce AWID Compatibility in XceedID ISOX Multi-technology Reader Line

GOLDEN, COLORADO – February 24, 2006 – XceedID Corp. has announced that its ISOX™ Multi-technology Readers, the most flexible card readers in the security industry, are now compatible with AWID proximity cards.

The ISOX readers now support 125 KHz low frequency proximity including HID® proximity, GE/CASI® ProxLite®, AWID proximity, and XceedID proximity. The readers simultaneously support 13.56 MHz high frequency contactless smart cards including Infineon my-d®, MIFARE®, MIFARE DESFire®, HID iCLASS®, XceedID ISOX and other ISO compliant technologies. The devices can read proximity numbers, smart card serial numbers and the data application areas of contactless smart cards.
